Make up Sponge VS Dish Sponge

 

Since I have learnt the technique, I have been doing gradient nail art with a slightly damp dish cloth,

but when reading other blogs I got the idea to use some make up sponge instead.

 

And while both work well, I prefer the make up sponge look.

The only way I can think to describe it is like hair, the makeup sponge creates an ombre look while dish sponges create more of a dip dye effect.

Both lovely but I am more suited to the subtleness of the make up sponge.
